About Me

Our Story

Mitch is an Air Force Veteran, entrepreneur, and jack of all trades. After building jet engines (from scratch!) at Honeywell for 15 years, he went on to own a couple different businesses - from a jewelry gallery to a full-service car wash. However, he found his passion in 2004 when he obtained his real estate license.

After a successful start selling real estate, he was hired to be a branch manager and also taught classes at the AZ School of Real Estate & Business. He brings managerial experience and knows the contract inside and out. His expertise
in negotiating and his ability to communicate effectively has translated into lifelong clients and a thriving referral business.

He believes family is the most important thing in life and gets tremendous joy by being actively involved in his four children’s lives. Before Curtis joined the business, he was flying up to Denver every weekend during basketball season
to watch Curtis play – a true, die-hard fan. When Curtis graduated in 2011, they joined forces and created The Mitchell Group Real Estate Team.

Aside from real estate, Mitch is also the worship pastor for Black Mountain Baptist Church where he plays the guitar and leads worship with his wife, Susie, who plays the keyboard. However, most of his energy goes to their 5 grandchildren,
who they spoil more than you could ever believe.

Curtis is an All-American collegiate basketball player that knows firsthand what hard work and dedication looks like. After graduating in 2011 from Regis University in Denver, CO with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing,
he moved back home to Phoenix where he joined his Dad and pursued a full-time career in real estate. Together they have created The Mitchell Group Real Estate Team.

He has translated what he's learned from sports directly to real estate when dealing with clients. He loves helping people and believes real estate is a relationship business at its core. He has a great team of lenders and title representatives
and will do what it takes to win. His dream is to be an entrepreneur and real estate gives him the opportunity to do just that.

His drive comes from more than just a need to win. He is actively involved in the non-profit, Teach One to Lead One, where he mentors at-risk youth in schools around the valley. He is passionate for creating leaders in the community and
giving hope those who are less fortunate. He uses real estate as a catalyst to give back and donates a portion of every sale to this life-changing organization.

Outside of work, he loves staying active with his Fiancé Marissa and their dog Annabelle. He also enjoys any activity that involves watches, cars or sports.
